Bridging the gap between planning and data integrity in environmental projects.
Project Planning
The first step on the road to project success!
Project Management Plans
Our Project Management Plans are drafted in accordance with the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) Guide, 7th Edition. These plans are fully customizable to meet the needs of the project. Project-specific plans may be developed, if the the project management plan requires components other than those listed below. These plans may include any of the following components as required for the successful execution of the environmental project.

-
Change Control Plan - Establishes change control system for the project.
-
Communication Management Plan - Establishes he communication process for project stakeholders.
-
Cost Management Plan - Establishes the cost structure and how costs will be controlled.
-
Procurement Management Plan - Establishes how the project team will acquire goods and services.
-
Quality Management Plan - Establishes how policies, procedures and guidelines will be implemented to achieve quality objectives.

-
Scope Management Plan - Defines scope and establishes how scope will be developed, monitored, controlled and validated.
-
Stakeholder Engagement Plan - Identifies project stakeholders, strategies and actions required to promote productive stakeholder involvement in project decision making.

Uniform Federal Policy for Quality Assurance Project Plans (UFP -QAPP)
Our UFP-QAPPs are drafted in accordance with the UFP-QAPP Manual, Version 1. These plans are often required for environmental projects associate with the United States Department of Defense (DoD), United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the United States Department of Energy (DOE). These agencies together form the Intergovernmental Data Quality Task Force (IDQTF), and are the authors of the UFP-QAPP Manual. These plans rely on project team scoping sessions and data included in the plans are organized into 37 established worksheets. The worksheets are grouped into four elements below.

-
Project Management and Objectives Elements - Ensures that the project has a defined purpose by documenting the environmental problem, the environmental questions to be asked and the environmental decisions that have to be made.
-
Measurement and Data Acquisition Elements - Establishes how project data will be collected, measured and documented, ensuring the resulting data are scientifically sound and of known and documented quality, suitable for their intended use.
-
Assessment and Oversight Elements - Ensures that planned project activities are implemented as described in the QAPP and that reports are provided to apprise management of the project status and any quality assurance issues that arise during project implementation.. Activities associated with this element further ensures that data quality is adequate for its intended use and that appropriate responses are in place to address nonconformances and deviations from the QAPP.
-
Data Review Elements - Defines the steps of data review and describes their implantation It includes details needed for data verification, data validation and data usability assessment

The UFP-QAPP requires review and approval from a regulatory authority before implementation of the project activities when projects are associated with the entities that make up the IDQTF. However, the UFP-QAPP can be used for any environmental project in lieu or in addition to a traditional project management plan.
